It is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of this year’s Hell-Fire Half and 10k especially after the wonderful comments we received from last year and the great write up we had in Runners World.
Along with many races this year we have been unable to attract enough entries to make the race financially viable.
As a race organised by club members we do not host the race to make any money – indeed all our profits are given to our chosen charity. However, unless we have a certain amount of runners, we are in danger of losing money and this is something we cannot obviously allow.
We hope to be back bigger and better next year – just watch this space.
Rest assured, all runners who entered these races will receive a full refund.
We do still have some spaces available for our fast flat road race (somewhat different to the Hell-Fire races!) the Marlow 5 on the 8th May. With over 1300 entries already this will be a fantastic race, running through the iconic town on the river Thames.
