The fourth of this year’s Pub Runs is from The Chequers at Watlington, OX49 5RA starting at 7.00pm, and is being organised by Mike Hollis.
There will be two runs of 6 and 8 miles which will be led and swept so nobody should get lost, and a walk, which will be led, of about 4 miles. Maps of the routes will be available on the night for those who enjoy navigating their own way around. The routes are mainly off-road and we anticipate them taking around an hour and a half to complete.
Mike has arranged for the pub to do a barbeque which will be £8.00 per person and will include burgers, sausages, chicken and various salads. Can you please let me Mike know by Wednesday 1st July if you’d like to eat afterwards? firstname.lastname@example.org so that he can give the pub an indication of how much food to order and prepare.
There is a small car park at the side of the pub but it’s probably better if we leave this for the pub’s regulars, so Mike has been given permission for us to use the car park of the school next door.
The sixth of this year’s series will take place at Hurley village, so we will not be running from the club this evening. Details have been circulate. If you are a prospective member intending to come along, please contact Mike Hickman email@example.com 07947309923
